Category Sales Development Manager / Executive (Trade Marketing)

Role & Responsibility :-

To be responsible for developing the sales growth in all channel of distribution and ensure the sales budget achievement as plan. Analyze and develop the sales/market share gain through the winning path to purchase strategy (Assortment, price, channel, merchandising, visibility and promotion).  Understanding the shopper, channels, competition environment to develop shopper marketing strategy to win over competitors.  Ensure the effective and successful implementation of trade marketing and consumer promotion via trade programs in all channels. Build strong partnerships with the trades/principals. Ensure all trade programs and activities are in compliance with the existing regulations and internal compliance requirements.

 

Main Duties and Functions:      

    • Analyze information, data gather from various sources (Insight, AC Nielsen, Trades, Internal sales data) to identify the issues and opportunity of product, category and brand.
    •  Develop shopper marketing strategy plan or 4P strategy align to brand strategy to achieve brand plan objective in terms of market share, distribution coverage and sales achievement in all channels of distribution and ensure the sales and share growth of company’s product categories to meet company business objectives and Division/ Department KPIs.
    •  Develop the sales/market share gain through the winning path to purchase strategy  Manage and control the activities, projects implementation through channel of distribution, in achieving availability, price parity, point of sales and stock across market segment to maximize sales volume and distribution opportunities. 
    •  Working with third party, ads/media agency to develop the content, activation plan,activities align to brand strategy.
    •      Regular market/field visit to collect shoppers, trade insight, competitors’ and consumers’ information in order to support strategy development, category planning, performance measurement, competitor monitoring and feedback to improve business performance.
    •  Ensure that all shopper marketing activities, key campaigns, KPIs are properly tracked, monitored and measured and seek for future recommendation, define actionable learning on how to improve promotional effectiveness versus the competition to enhance performance and effectiveness.
    • Actively participate and contribute in business planning activities involving brand and sales plan, demand forecasting, new product development, new businesses and budgeting process. Manage trade marketing budget and ensure the effectiveness to ensure all spending activities contribute to sales volume by setting activities KPI and implemented those activities according to the objectives and KPI.
    • Performs other related duties of a similar type and at a similar level.

Qualification :-

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing or related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven successful track record in marketing, direct experience in FMCG is advantage,
  • Winning attitude, initiative, self-motivated, and willing to work hard
  • Able to work independently and being a good team player
  • Strong leadership with high commitment
  • Fluent in English
