Merchandiser
Responsibilities:
  • Understanding the customer needs and requirements, and developing an effective sourcing strategy.
  • Planning and developing merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company’s objectives.
  • Re-forecasting in-season business based on current performance, and presenting revised projections and recommendations to cross functional partners.
  • Ensuring product development occurs on time, at the right price, and with good quality matching to meet customer requirements.
  • Working with new and existing fabric suppliers to negotiate pricing and identify suitable quality, and, following up with suppliers regarding raw materials.
  • Monitoring shipment and logistics activities.
Requirements:
  • Having experience in merchandising of at least 5 years.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Execution skills, proactive, and a good team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical proficiency with a strong business acumen.
  • Ability to be flexible to support the business as needed.
