Accounting and Finance Manager – Property Development / Real Estate 100-150K

Our client is a global real estate company with a portfolio that spans residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial asset. They have developed an intimate knowledge of their business in  in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Candidate will be responsible for assisting with overseeing the Real Estate Accounting team in maintaining the monthly accounting for a fast-growing portfolio. She/he will be responsible for managing and reviewing work performed by the Real Estate Accounting team including analyzing certain income statement accounts to ensure they are recorded appropriately and will play a pivotal role in the preparation for and execution of periodic audits. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing new leases to determine financial accounting implications, including capital or operating lease classification.
  • Review reconciliations prepared by Real Estate Accounting team of selected income statement and balance sheet accounts.
  • Review analytics prepared by Real Estate Accounting team to review monthly activity.
  • Oversee all aspects of Property Accounting including A/R, A/P variance analysis, lease review, Budget and forecast preparation
  • Periodic review of trial balance including supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts
  • Control, maintain and review the general ledger
  • Ensure that all escalations and recoveries are properly invoiced, including taxes, utilities, insurance, repairs, etc.
  • Approve and process invoices and check payments
  • Prepare and review monthly billings
  • Review bank reconciliations
  • Assist with information requirements related to the execution of periodic audits


  • Thai nationality only
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, finance or related
  • Good command of English
  • CPA and Big 4 work experience will be an advantage
  • Familiar with fast pace environment
  • Real estate accounting experience, with top-tier public accounting being a plus.
  • Ability to detail review work prepared by other team members and manage team priorities and time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to reviewing leases and applying appropriate accounting guidance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
