Team Head of IT Audit
  • Audit Delivery & Relationship Management
  • As a direct report of Chief Auditor, propose risk-based annual Information Technology audit plan to deliver value-added assurance and advisory services to the Audit Committee of Board of Directors and management with focus on IT General Controls, Information Security, and IT Network and Infrastructure management.
  • Oversee and/or directly manage timely execution of risk-based IT audits and advisory projects consistent with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors and ISACA’s COBIT framework. This includes accountability for clear, concise summary reports, audit project work papers, and other documentation.
  • Partner with IA leadership colleagues on delivery of integrated operational, financial, and compliance internal audits and special projects as needed.
  • Oversee Internal Audit’s data analytics team and lead efforts to harness emerging technologies such as robotics and advanced analytics within IA’s audit approach.
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships with IT leadership (including CIO and CISO) and other key stakeholders.
  • Leverage insights developed through audit work, strong business acumen along with technical capability to devise effective plan to influence key stakeholders to improve risk management in areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinate efforts with external auditors as needed to drive assurance efficiency.
  • Effectively manage team by creating an environment of trust, teamwork, results orientation and accountability.
  • Utilize sound staff development techniques to retain key talent and drive improved staff efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with Chief Auditor and Internal Audit leadership colleagues to drive leading edge department performance.
  • Regularly lead or contribute to global Internal Audit strategies or special projects.
  • Keep apprised of leading-edge internal auditing practices and trends

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall auditing experience.
  • At least 6+years audit management experience.
  • Has wide knowledge of IT platforms, processes, systems and controls, including areas such as network security, logical access and change management at an infrastructure and application level, databases and systems maintenance etc.
  • Formal IT audit related professional certifications preferred (particularly Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Python, Power BI, Tableau, SQL) preferred.
  • International business experience and ability to work across national cultures.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Ability to navigate large enterprise environment to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Has understanding of key business drivers in the technology industry.
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy and mission-driven colleagues
  • Proven ability to effectively manage employees to peak performance.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred, particularly in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field of study.
