Product Manager

Responsibilities:
• Understanding of the product, supplier base, market trends, and company procedures.
• Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the product category.
• Cataloging new part vehicle applications
• OEM, OES, Aftermarket sample acquisition
• Preparing and shipping samples to China
• Preparing and assembling sample parts into complete strut assemblies
• Evaluate market competition and position the product line to effectively compete in the market place
• Develop sales tools and collateral
• Develop Buyers Guide
• Develop and maintain competitive interchanges/cross references
• Produce competitive analysis materials comparing product with key competitors.
• Work closely with Company’s Sales & Marketing Team to develop and share market intelligence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience required; Engineering, Technical concentration strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience within product/category management or related functions required.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, project management, and organizational skills required.
• Skilled in competitor product analysis.
• Strong understanding of product development processes.
• Automotive parts experience a plus
• Team player; work collaboratively with all members of the Automotive Aftermarket business.
• Strong automotive technical background and knowledge
• Strong project management and time management skills
• Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office
• Understanding rules/procedures for exporting sample product to China
• Qualified applicants must speak fluent English
