Overall Purpose of the Job

Responsible for ensuring that support is given to ensure maintenance and the movement of parts and equipment is actioned in line with compliance and the client and or operational requirements in a safe and organised manner. Ensure all documentation and recording of information is in line with the Company’s policies and procedures. 

Key Activities and Accountabilities

1. Ensure that the preparation and preventative maintenance of equipment is undertaken in line with customer and/or operational requirements and in compliance with certification requirements.

2. Ensure all documentation is prepared and recorded for the movement of goods and supply of items required for workshop operations as per Company procedures

3. Undertake the supervision of personnel within the facility

4. Where necessary undertake required inspections of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company’s policies, procedures and practices. Ensure that all documentation is the correct revision.

5. Report all incidents and non-conformances in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines

6. Update job packs and return to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period

7. Liaise with various internal departments such as logistics and stores to ensure all required components and movement of items is achieved to ensure timely completion of tasks in line with operational requirements.

8. Actively participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilisation/demobilisation updates etc

9. Use Stop Work Authority; actively encourage participation in Positive Intervention Programme

10. Ensure the daily housekeeping of work area is undertaken to ensure a safe working environment

11. Liaise with internal and external parties as and when required to ensure all aspects of workshop activity are discussed as required with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication thereby achieving continued safe working by all parties and task completion

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

1. Hold a Technical Qualification

2. 6+ years previous work experience within a related technical field 3. Knowledge of SAP system
