CLUSTER FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER – HOTEL

Salary: B/60,000 – 80,000 / Monthly

The Cluster Finance & Admin Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for the following key functions:

 Responsibilities:

  • Sets up the accounting policy follow the hotel’s regulations from Project Manager or General Manager and concerns with the legal department regulation.
  •  Directs the timely development of Hotel Annual Profit Plan, Budget, Forecast and Cash Flow and presents final version for approval of the higher level of authority.
  •  Conducts all departments to implement in strict compliance with internal accounting controls, statutory requirements and hotel policies to safeguard assets and the integrity of financial data.
  • Establish and maintains a system of internal control of hotel Assets, Revenues and Expenses oversee daily operations of cost controller section.
  • Analyzes monthly financial statements and other management reports to project cash flow and progress toward business objectives.
  • Directs cash management activities to ensure adequate cash availability for daily operations and capital needs improves cash flow by effectively managing payable, receivable and inventories and by enforcing cash controls.
  • Reviews continuously all bank balances and may invest excess ach reserves.
  •  Oversees credit and collection function to diminish receivable balances and improves turnover and reduces the ratio of bad debts.
  • Reviews and monitors legal instruments such as contracts, agreements, leasing, sub-leasing and licenses to ensure terms are favorable to the organization and in effect.
  • Communicates effectively within the organization at all levels using the most appropriate communication method for the matter concerned.
  •  Supports and assists hotel operation the business development and related team with new business proposals and tenders as required.
  • Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements coordinates annual internal and external audits to facilitate timely completion and contains costs.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or any Financial related field.Possession of strong coordination, communication, analytical, leadership, time management skills and dedication to work and commitment.
    • Minimum of 8 years work experience with at least 3 years in management level of Chief Accountant or Financial controller in Hotel.
    • Certified CPD or CPA candidates will have an advantage.
  • Ability to lead the financial function control to ensure the implementation of corporate finance processes and systems.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good level of English language.
  • Able to travel from Samui to Bangkok.
  •  Sound judgement, good decision making and Problem Solving skills.
