Analysis & Development Manager (Land & Property)
  • Understanding the local performance of stores through the analysis of their catchment and performance, and using this to create insight or simple local models when required.
  • Managing Property Research’s local data and databases, through maintaining regular data loading processes (especially sales and loyalty cards), ensuring the team have access to this information.
  • Managing data we purchase externally, continually looking for new sources which can add benefit to the decision making of the team.
  • Working with the Property Research Shared Service team to implement the global technology plan locally, through providing training and access to local data; and feeding back local requirements and suggestions for improvements.
  • Becoming the technical expert in our key tools (Excel, Databases – SQL Server, Alteryx, GIS) and providing support in relation to training the rest of the team.
  • Supporting and coaching fellow team members, through sharing knowledge, experience and technical expertise.
  • Providing access to our local data to other functions so they can make better decisions.
  • Documenting Property Research’s data, processes and tools.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
  • Male or female. 25-30 years old.
  • Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Operational Research, Engineering or related.
  • At least 3-years working experience in data analysis, data science, market analysis or a related area.
  • Expertise and passion for data and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, SAS, R, Alteryx, Tableau or other analytical programs will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Good team work skills and able to work independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - English.
Key Criteria:
  • Prepare data to support the Property Research team.
Preference: Retail Business, Real Estate, Property Agent.
