System Administrator / IT supporter

We are looking for a System Administrator / IT supporter based in Phuket, who wants to improve our processes and has an understanding of server and network systems. We understand our customer’s needs and develop their solutions for the future. We focus on state of the art technology and do in-house developments for our diverse applications, which we optimize steadily.

 

What you bring/ Qualifications

-  Knowledge of UNIX systems (especially Ubuntu and BSD based systems), Setup , operation and troubleshooting

-  Knowledge of Linux command line

-  Knowledge of macOS clients

-  Knowledge of Firewalls and their functions (preferrably pfSense)

-  Networking and WLANs

-  Structured approach to analysing, diagnosing and fixing issues in IT infrastructures

-  Knowledge of storage systems (RAID systems, controllers, their setup and function, as well as diagnostics)

-   Hardware knowledge (which part is which, diagnostic and identification of possibly faulty parts that need to be replaced)

-   Choose and communicate with distributors for acquisitions of hardware and parts.

-  Network and Client Troubleshooting

-  IT support (Computer/Printer/Software, Adobe programs such as Photoshop or InDesign, Microsoft Office, Teams etc.)
