The Role
As a  Data Engineer, you will be responsible for Analyzing, Extracting, Loading, Transforming to build the data pipeline at client scale. You will provide support for  providing high quality data to provide the best data outcome to serve BI. You will have to bring expertise in data manipulation, and ensure that queries and scripts are fine tuned as part of data pipeline optimization. You will work closely with various teams across the organization and with various clients in a variety of industries to provide the best bespoken data solution that will help drive growth and optimize business processes. You will be the reliable point of truth for the client. 

Responsibilities

• Understand, collect and analyze a large set of data sources from multiple sources.

• Understand the given data semantics and metrics definition.

• Fine tune Data queries and scripts for optimization.

• Build data schema following the data architecture.

• Respect all the compliance and security from client, industry and market regulatory.

• Work closely with business tech lead to ensure the sprint deliveries.

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure best practice to deliver a clean and compliant data pipeline.

• Enable Seven Peaks into data by mentoring new members in data engineering.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data.

Qualifications 

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in data engineering.

• Experience API call, SQL, Python, Spark experience to build optimized ELT/ETL pipeline.

• Understanding of data schema structure.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.

• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate issues and risks.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and with customers.

• Fast learner to be technology agnostic.

Extra points if you have

• Fluency in Thai language.

• Experience with three of those databases: Vertica, MSSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio, Looker.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.

• SI Vendor industry experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, data, Computer Science, or related field.
