Tourkrub.com is seeking an experienced Business Development (BI). The ideal candidate will be passionate, resourceful, and self-motivated. You will be able to manage a heavy workload efficiently, while anticipating the needs of a manager and team before they arise. This person should be a masterful problem-solver and expert communicator who can operate in an incredibly fast-paced environment with a sense of humor and spirit of helpfulness.

As a Business Development (BI) at Tourkrub.com, you will be the key driver behind our effort to make our team space the place where people don’t just come to work, but where talented people come to play their best professional roles in helping people all over the world to enjoy their dream vacations.

To achieve such goal, this position needs to ensure that our team space can provide a culture where everyone can thrive to reach their best potential professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Developing database solutions to store and retrieve company information
• Installing and configuring information systems to ensure functionality
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
• Optimize new and current database systems
• Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
• Industry experience is preferred
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles
• Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to approach data organization challenges while keeping an eye on what’s important.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
