Senior- Business Operational Risk Management Specialist (CEO/CFO/CRO)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of the operational and strategic plan with the Head of Corporate Operational Risk Management and Business Head in line with the Bank's Operational Risk order to achieve targets assigned by the Bank for the respective business area.
  • Coach and advise member of the Business Operational Risk Management and Business Unit on the operational activities and provide consultation on issues that require solution in order to enable team members to complete the tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Advise and inform business units and their management on the implementation of CORM framework, the risks and strategic issues in all areas of Operational Risk Management. 
  • Communicate the Policy House documents to respective business areas.
  • Monitor the implementation of the formulated Policy House documents and assess the quality of the implemented measurements.
  • Organize and facilitate Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) as well as Key Control Testing (KCT) and accomplish risk awareness programs in the respective business area. 
  • Complete RCSA and KCT reports, prepare and supervise their approval by the Non-Financial Risk Committee (NFRC) and monitor the execution of follow-ups.
  • Develope standards for safeguarding the continuity and quality of the business operations in respect of risks & control deficiencies.
  • Make recommendations to mitigate risk and monitor risk review/report for business area.
  • Review/monitor the entire incident management process: notifying, analyzing, reporting and drawing up Lessons Learned for the respective business area.
  • Review risk report and escalate the high risk events to the attention of business area.
  • Complete lessons learned and root cause analysis reports, proposes improvement and monitor the follow-up items.
  • Ensure that the lessons learned are shared across the other operational risk units/ and if/when applicable are shared with other risk disciplines (Compliance/Legal/Credit/Market).
  • Contribute from an Operational risk perspective to the completion of project plan and monitor its execution.
  • Make proposals about adjusting the project's activities to mitigate inherent and result risk. Also responsible for achieving thee project's risk mitigating actions.


  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years in Audit or Operational Risk areas.
  • Risk Management.
  • Analysis Skills.
  • Good command in English both writing and speaking.
