Purchasing Project Management for Mobility Solutions, Southeast Asia
Job Description

Integrated in an international network, as a project manager of purchasing you will analyze, develop and release suppliers for our newly established plant in Thailand. Embedded in the business division of ‘Powertrain Solutions’, you are responsible to ensure the supply of components for the product ‘port fuel injector’, used in the automotive-sector. The majority of the supplier-base will be located in the region of Southeast Asia.

  • Evaluation and development of suppliers in ASEAN for platform- and application-projects, focusing on the material fields of 'turning' and 'stamping'.
  • Definition and alignment of procurement-strategy for the Bosch plants, under consideration of target costs, quality aspects and timing.
  • Organizing and leading of national and international technical supplier discussions (TSD), w/ participation of internal stakeholders (e.g. manufacturing, engineering).
  • Collaboration in national and international cross-functional teams (e.g. simultaneous engineering teams) for the product ‘port fuel injector’.
  • Performing the change management and ratio project planning (RPP) for running types of injectors.
  • Presenting and explaining the status and results of purchasing to the international management of the business divisions.
  • Degree in industrial / mechanical engineering; master preferable.
  • Analytical, structural and own-organized approach and high degree of assertiveness, persuasiveness and team-orientation.
  • High ability of problem solving.
  • National and international networking-ability.
  • Willingness to domestic and international traveling.
  • Good in communication and negotiation with stakeholder.
  • Very good Thai and English skills in speaking and writing.
