App Developers: Frontend

We are looking for a highly skilled iOS and Android developer to join our frontend development team at Mali.

Mali is Thailand's leading medical app for prenatal care allowing moms (and dads) to get personalized daily updates during the 9 months of pregnancy. The app is available in Thai and English on your app store, or at www.mali.me and has been featured by Apple in Thailand. With over 1 million sessions, 60,000 downloads and an App Store ranking of 4.8, we are hiring new highly talented people to join our growing international team.

Key responsibilities

  • Become one of the main contributors of the iOS and Android App in Swift and Kotlin.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Conception, development and implementation of native iOS and Android apps
  • Implement new designs for the apps
  • Help to improve the SW quality of the app
  • Work with the backend team to design new features (e.g defining the required interfaces)
  • Improving Analytics and A/B Testing

Your profile:

  • University degree in informatics, computer sciences or comparable and several years of experience in mobile iOS or Android development
  • Willing to learn Swift or Kotlin if you don’t have experience in one of these languages yet
  • Good command of the English language
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Good knowledge in at least two programming languages: Swift/Objective C and Kotlin/Java/C#/C/C++/Javascript
  • Knowledge about MVVM application design, reactive touch-based UI and UI frameworks, i.e. SwiftUI, UIKit or Jetpack Compose, XML respectively
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coding

Additional skills or interests:

  • Expertise with PHP and Wordpress
  • Experience in website development
  • Experience with UI unit tests, e.g. XCTest or Espresso
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered as Software Engineer.
  • Native in Thai is an advantage.
  • Eager to learn new technologies
  • Interested in social innovations
