Operation Manager (Chonburi)

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing the assigned operation (warehousing, transportation, tire assembly, etc) while ensuring highest service quality and compliance with customer as well as company requirements. To ensure cost effectiveness and the maintenance of professional standard and disciplines at all levels within the operation.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Manages the operational and fiscal activities of the department, directing and supervising staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conducts staff scheduling, meeting and duty assignments according to budget allotment, customer needs, problems, workloads and statistical forecast.
  • Conducts recruitment and induction processes, provides career development guidance, establishes employee goals and conducts employee performance reviews.
  • Ensures that all operations are accomplished by the minimum expenses and that there is no excess waste incurred during the operation process.
  • Ensures all company policies and procedures are adhered to, including security and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Plans and controls installation and commissioning of new machines, as well as their maintenance as required.
  • Monitors, measures and takes remedial action on any operational process deviating from plan.
  • Develops and measures customer KPI’s on a daily basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary.


    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics management, supply chain management or engineering
    • Experience in warehouse management/ public sector/ professional-level corporate business in a similar environment
    • Technical knowledge and skills according to assignment (equipment, resources, machinery, terminology and technical development)
    • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, HR, leadership technique, operation methods and coordination of people and resources
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Team leadership & people management skill
    • Able to see “Big Picture” and quickly reach an understanding of client’s business and requirements
    • Able to communicate well in English for writing / speaking / listening (require to pass the TOEIC test with a score of min. 650)
    • Able to work under pressure

    • Sense of urgency
