About the role

Drive new business initiatives for a leading, deeply established Thai FMCG manufacturer. Lead end-to-end strategic projects from market research to commercial execution and scaling. Collaborate directly with senior management to shape long-term corporate growth opportunities. Work in a cross-functional, highly collaborative environment focused on practical innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer gaps, and potential white-space opportunities in the FMCG sector

• Analyze competitor strategies, pricing models, and product portfolios to benchmark and develop competitive advantages

• Evaluate potential partnerships, joint ventures, or M&A targets that align with the company's long-term expansion and new business strategies

• Formulate detailed business plans and financial models (ROI, NPV, payback period) for proposed new ventures, product lines, or business extensions

• Translate corporate objectives into actionable project roadmaps, defining clear milestones, resource requirements, and KPIs

• Present strategic proposals and feasibility studies to the executive committee for budget approval and resource allocation

• Lead the end-to-end execution of approved projects, coordinating directly with R&D, Marketing, Production, and Finance teams

• Monitor project progression against timelines, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective mitigation plans

• Transition successfully launched pilot projects into standard daily operations by establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field

• 5-8 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, or Strategic Marketing, preferably within the FMCG industry

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and business case formulation

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

• PMP certification or experience working with market research tools (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar)
