Sales Manager (Building Materials)

Location:  Samutprakarn

 Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer & distributor in building materials. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Formalize sales strategy to meet or exceed set sales and target.
  • Explore and generate new business to increase sales
  • Develop business of new products and bonded components to meet set target.
  • Strengthen brand awareness and corporate presence to contract segments.
  • Negotiate with customers to maximize margins and sustain on-going business.
  • Increase sales revenue via geographic expansion strategy.
  • Tighten relationship with potential customers for good sales performance.
  • Support the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives. Assist in advertising and promoting new product releases, supporting trade shows, managing and creating sales lead and new opportunities.
  • Develop potential customers for business expansion
  • Prepare and submit account proposals and special projects.
  • Establish objectives and action plans to identify and secure new business opportunities. Feedback to NBD team.
  • Generate inputs for project feasibility studies.
  • Provide information on competitor activities and performances to ensure Formica’s competitiveness.
  • Ensure that all business activities conducted personally comply with legislation and Company policies.
  • Participate in the team in positive cycle and competitive environment to meet the company goal.
  • Align personal contribution to team’s purpose and direction
  • Operate in accord with our desired team culture.
  • Demonstrate commitment to company decisions and agreements and effectively represent them.
  • Fulfill systems responsibilities (e.g. comply with systems policies, procedures) and provide helpful feedback on their effectiveness and possible improvements.
  • Sales forecasting & sales analysis
  • Monitor contractor team’s performance and provide market intelligence back to the management team how the market is tracking and what the future may look like. 

  

Key Requirements:

 

  • At least bachelor degree in business field, MBA preferable
  • 10 years of sales and business development experiences in construction/building material products i.e. abrasivesgypsum plasterboards, laminates, furniture, and wood substitutes.
  • Age 35+ year up
  • Fluency in English both speaking and writing
  • Experiences in managing sales team of 10-20 people
  • Good computer skill
  • Flexible and high responsibility
  • Thai nationality
