GLCM Account Manager (Client Service)

Job responsibility:

  • Act as a single point of service contact for selected Corporate, Financial and non-bank Financial top-tier GLCM revenue generators locally and regionally
  • Effectively lead/manage the Thailand Customer Service Centre to provide benchmarked market standards and to contribute to HSBC's regional vision to be the BEST Cash Management Bank
  • Develop and implement a strategy to differentiate HSBC from its competitors, and to improve and elevate market perceptions of HSBC’s service proposition
  • Understand customers’ day-to-day banking activities and operational needs so as to perform insightful reviews to streamline customers’ processes and to spot cross sell opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of GLCM products and identify ways to improve operational efficiencies 
  • Ensure an effective Operational Risk Management process is in place to reduce the level of operational risk losses and to protect HSBC Thailand from foreseeable future losses
  • Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business e.g. economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements. 
  • Generate referrals for other Global Businesses, e.g. Private Banking, Global Banking Markets,
  • Retail Banking and Wealth Management, as appropriate.

Qualification:

  • Master/ Bachelor’s degree in any related fields
  • Minimum 5 years in cash management (working knowledge of AP, AP, Liquidity & Reporting)
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiating skills with ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in managing and implementing projects, product and selling environment are required
  • Analytical thinking and attention to details are necessary for the constant improvement of workflow & procedures to further improve implementation productivity and customer service 
  • Ability to understand customer’s needs and cross-sell the Bank’s products and services
  • Technical aptitude for systems/computers/file formats
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
