Sales Executive (Freight Forwarder)


National Sales

o To explore the opportunity to develop additional business from assigned customer account

o To proactively find new target customer and acquire new business

o To proactively create and submit sales leads to overseas offices as well as follow up on the progress

o To conduct productivity sale visit as per target 5 visits per week

o To conduct regular customer visit and extend excellent presentation on LS overall business

o To prepare, review & sign quotations

o To organize and delegate support work to sale assistant

o To conduct internal roll out meetings for handover new acquired customers to operation team

o To handle the overall customer satisfaction of newly acquired customer in case of RFI,RFQ,RFP, tender management, and project, have to be conduct meeting review with superior and department concerned before submission

o Develop personnel pipeline for potential opportunity (Pipeline Grading 5) 3 time above than personnel GP target

o To be attend weekly & monthly sale review meeting

o To achieve set sales personnel targets

o To handle & prepare rate, tender inquiries and special projects for overseas offices/agents

o To maintain excellent relation with potential K/A customers to obtain the chance to enter future biddings

o To implement and execute work accordingly to ISO work procedure

o Prepare and submit quotations/tenders

Trade Lane Development (as assigned by Manager, Sales & Marketing)

o Implement trade lane development in accordance to respective counterpart achieve targets and strategies

o Manage and share sales leads and follow up result

o Conduct overseas sales calls when required

o Review & approve quotations/tender submissions


o Calculation of sales commission

o To be regular update and provide monthly GP report by date 5 of each month

o To issue minute of meeting or visited report for submission within 3 days after customer visited

o To submit weekly sales plan report by end of Friday

o To update regular monthly pipeline report (Sale Review) as per agreed timeframe

Any special assignment by superior


o Bachelor degree in logistics or relate field

o 5-8 Years in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, functions in Freight Forwarding or Import/Export

o Excellent command of English spoken and written

o Computer literate (MS office and Power Point)

o Excellent customer service mind

o Ability think “outside the box”
