Reports to: PACE Manager

Job Purpose

The PACE Assistant works with the PACE Team in various functions with the main focus on parent communication, concerns, and questions. S/He handles daily work pressures, requiring high concentration on time-sensitive clerical work and interoffice coordination. Must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a dual-language environment with frequent interruptions.

Duties and Responsibilities

The PACE Assistant’s primary duties are dedicated in supporting and assisting the PACE Manager regarding parent communication and engagement. The majority of responsibilities will be for external purposes unless otherwise specified.

• Work with the PACE Manager and PACE Coordinator to establish and maintain relationships between parents and the school
• Provide support of parent communication channels and engage in supportive, candid online (and offline) conversations to foster trust
• Provide intaking and fielding of parent complaints and concerns, responding to inquiries and maintaining PACE record keeping database
• Provide reports and reference documents for PACE Team and recording meeting discussions as needed
• Maintain parent confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

The PACE Administrative Assistant may need to assist in other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Personal Qualifications and Professional Skills

Personal

• Outgoing, personable, and welcoming
• Strong sense of self and presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English (TOEIC scores with minimum of 650 is a plus)
• Able to manage and honor confidential information
• Able to work collaboratively with department members, school leadership and other groups
• Able to change course, appropriately respond to opportunities, and stay focused on priorities

Professional

• Bachelor’s degree from Business Administration, Business English, or Communication Arts
• Customer service and/or executive assistant experience, ideal but not required
• Background experience in education industry or field related to parents, ideal but not required
• Proven public relations aptitude, including a keen sense of networking
• Proficiency in Google Suite applications and/or Microsoft Office programs, with a willingness to expand computer skills as required
• Able to manage multiple projects and proactively communicate relevant project information or status to appropriate team members
• Able to be productive in a deadline-driven environment and prioritize workload with little supervision
