Training Specialist & HR

                                                                                1  Position

Job Purpose:

The Training Specialist & HR function is responsible for providing training and development, internal communication, support in general day-to-day HR functions and perform general administration duties.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Assist the HR Director/Supervisor with general HR matters, including reviewing and developing relevant company policies and procedures
  • Identify training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with HR Director/Supervisor
  • To be responsible for and proactively drive the design, development and effective delivery of training to the organization’s employees within defined timescales
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
  • Designing training programs and deliver training in line with the development strategy of the company
  • Organize training (send invitations; establish locations; etc.)
  • Delivering training programs to company employees on hard skills and soft skills
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Manage both internal training and external training providers (from the selection of the providers to the closure of the projects)
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and by observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones
  • Preparation for welcome on board and all package for new comer; prepare all package items for new comer to be ready on or before start date
  • Conduct orientation and refresh training program for (new) employees
  • Organize and coordinate staff training sessions, workshops and training record
  • Ensure that training is in compliance with rules and regulations of the Department of skills Development and other concerned parties.
  • Responsible for another ad-hoc project as assigned
  • Support audit and follow-up when required
  • Coordinate and manage general repair and maintenance for the office equipment, office renovation, etc.
  • Support expat for work permit, visa, flight booking and travel insurance, guests accommodation and transportation arrangement, company car insurance and facilitate the meeting
  • Handle and coordinate with telephone operators 
  • Maintain department records in (paper and electronic) archiving system
  • Follow the company procedures, work instructions, regulations and comply with environmental, health and safety requirements  
  • Perform as assigned by superior

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent, Law or any other relevant Social Science discipline or a relevant combination of professional and academic qualifications and experience in Human Resource Management
  • At least 3-5 years experiences Human Resources Development (HRD), Training or related field
  • Familiar with labor law and related statutory regulation
  • Teaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans
  • Able to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft office, Internet and  familiar with HR Information Systems
  • Good in English
