The Sales team is looking for a Channel Solutions Architect to join them in Bangkok, Thailand. In this role, you'll contribute to their partner enablement program. This team is responsible for architecting solutions for prospective customers, presenting compelling recommendations, and convincing them to adopt our innovative open source solutions together with business partners. To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. You'll collaborate with their sales and technical delivery teams to create solutions, then present them to executive IT leadership with a compelling business case to invest in their solutions.
•Support their partners in leading presales pilots, initiatives, demonstrations, proofs of concepts, evaluations, and benchmarks
•Understand the channel partner business model and demonstrate knowledge of partner go-to-market strategies and their relevance in comparison to other vendor's offerings
•Closely cooperate with partners; evangelize for partner capabilities and implementation within the company and vice versa
•Work as a resource and technical manager and coordinator with company;s partner account and other specialists
•Take responsibility for developing, maintaining, and growing technical relationships with their partners
•Assess technical expertise of their partners by developing and implementing the technical enablement plan for focus partners and regularly monitoring progress
•Integrate their technologies across five major product areas, including platform, management, cloud, middleware, and storage, to build joint solutions with partners
•Continue educational advancement to learn about additional solutions within the area of speciality and across the broader company's technology portfolio Required skills
•7+ years of experience with Java programming
•7+ years of experience with J2EE programming with application servers like JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, etc.
•Technical translating skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
•Proficient presentation skills with the ability to deliver presentations to small and large groups of mixed audiences consisting of business, technical, and management associates
•Knowledge of application architectures like MVC Model 2, patterns, JDBC, CVS, build management, etc.
•Knowledge of enterprise architectures like Unix, RDBMS, MOM, LDAP, clustering, etc.
•Presales and sales-engineering experience are a plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
•Willingness to travel up to 50-70%
