Accounting Specialist - AP (Replacement)
Main Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate coding and submitting of all vendor invoice and employee expense claims to the GBS team.
  • Cooperating with GBS to answer queries from vendors & business.
  • Preparing monthly tax reports (VAT, Withholding Tax) i.e. PP30, PP36, PND3, PND 53, and submitting to the Revenue Department in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring prompt payments to internal and external parties to maintain the relationship and image of the company.
  • Preparing manual cheque payment to authority to meet as in required timeline i.e. Social Security.
  • Ensuring that all vendor Tax invoice and Tax report has been completely filled.
  • Cooperating with GBS to get the reconciliation and analysis of major vendor and the Miscellaneous accrual.
  • Being accurate and timely in preparation of Treasury report.
  • Cooperating between business and GBS for fixed asset and fixture support for Wholesale & Franchise customers.
  • Handling ad-hoc financial/accounting assignments.
Professional background/Experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Experienced in AP, reconciliations and bank reconciliations is advantageous; Familiarity with ERP applications, preferably SAP.
  • Ability to work well in a team and complete a task while functioning in a stressful environment.
  • Preferably in apparel/ fashion/ FW or FMCG retail industry but also open to others.
  • Proficient in MS Office program.
  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Ability to manage relationships and diversity.
  • Has planning, organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fast learner with self-development.
