Technical Commercial Manager

MISSION:

  • Nurture and build on the relationships with exisiting Délifrance distributors in the APAC region
  • Support the Export Director and two Commercial Managers in Hong and Korea with accurate market feedback to adapt the product range and offer
  • Implement the export department’s annual business development plans with existing and new distributors and key accounts
  • Liaise with customers and with internal teams (NPD, Central Marketing, International Key Account Manager, Quality) to drive growth

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commercial

  • Identify new business opportunities for Délifrance within the region, in the form of new distributors or key accounts
  • Nurture exisiting distributors by identifying market opportunities in their respective countries
  • Track and manage opportunities with exisiting distributors in the form of regular business reviews
  • Align with the Export Director on the P&L and ensure budgeted targets are met each month
  • Follow market trends in APAC to provide NPD with new product ideas and follow-up on NPD projects
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication with internal teams and with distributors
  • Manage one sales person (Technical Commercial) based in Indonesia

Technical

  • Manage and update all product SOPs that are to be revised and adaped based on the customers’ needs
  • Train new recruits (internal) and sales staff of distributors on baking and product usage
  • Act as the focal person on all topics related to baking and product usage
  • Marketing
  • Publish a monthly newsletter of events and activities in the region to share internally and with customers
  • Disseminate product news received from Central Marketing with relevant customers
  • Create and update localised catalogues for each distributor
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events when possible

Operational

  • Liaise with back offices in France and Thailand to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
  • Follow up with distributors to ensure timely payment for goods sold
  • Manage all requests for samples from distributors

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in business,international commerce, logistic or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years-experience in commercial management in Asia
  • Ability to work in autonomy, but also to integrate within a team made of International & multi-cultural profiles
  • Good organization skills
  • Proficiency in using all Ms Office tools: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Language & communication:GOOD interpersonal skills in Chinese and English (Preferred: written, spoken and read).
  • Able to travel for company business as company required.
