Supervisor, Material Engineer

Responsibilities:

DFMQ & Global Quality:

  • Execute problems to support Solution Team for technical recommendation in term of materials engineering (polymer, ceramic etc.) or related field.
Product Innovation:
  • Collaborate (including knowledge-sharing) with Product Innovation team in an effort to jointly explore new innovation opportunities.

Technical Development and Research:

  • Lead project team to conduct materials research activities for deep study or lab scale testing of material performance as request and provide recommendation to requester.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for major materials innovation based on functional and quality inputs.
  • Support all teams from all stakeholder for implementation of new materials in manufacturing.
  • Provide technical information of materials for support manufacturing.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders (universities, innovative start-ups...) to create innovative materials.
  • Identification of opportunities for major Metallurgist in Pandora based on issues faced by TD&R and Production

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree Material Science or Material Engineer or any related field.
  • Research experiences in Materials Science and Engineering relate to the jewelry industry minimum 3 years.
  • Leadership skill to lead research teams.
  • Research experiences in Materials Science and Engineering relate to the jewelry industry at lease 3 years.
  • Good Command of English and good communication skill.
