Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Job Description:

  • Performing financial planning and analysis activities to provide insightful information to support management decisions.
  • Provides business decision support to Business Unit Heads to ensure achievement of the financial goals of the business.
  • Conduct analysis to review and measure operational performance, communicate to regional and executive management, identify performance trends and support corporate reporting requirements.
  • P&L presentation, report generation, revenue analysis and branch financial reporting.
  • Reviewing and analyzing profit&loss to against forecast & Budget profit&loss.
  • Preparing accurate financial reports and highlighting any irregularities.
  • Leads the preparation and analysis of the business unit’s budget  and a long-range financials including financial evaluation of new business initiatives
  • Drives compliance of corporate policies and processes and reviews the same for any improvement opportunities.
  • Develops and coach a team to ensure deliverable are rendered and service level to the business unit is maintained.
  • Review the budget submission Corporate approval which is including sales result, gross profit margin, operation expenses, capital expenditure, balance sheet and headcount report.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 8 years experience in financial planning and analysis with 5 years experience in a managerial role.
  • Good English communication
  • Has professional maturity and agility gained due to exposure in handling diverse and multiple projects and/or fast-paced demanding business environment
  • Influencing skills is a must, – i.e. ability to persuade and relate well with customers from business unit heads to peers from different departments
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team, develop finance talents and coach difficult team members
  • Willingness to learn and be exposed to the different facets of the business
  • Proficient in interpreting financial results and business indicators to identify and analyze trends.
  • Expertise in computer abilities (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) / SAP
  • Detail-Oriented, fast-learner and committed to meet deadline
