Product Specialist – Wound Care

Function:              Consumer
Hiring Manager:   Sales Manager
Location:              Thailand

Position Summary

The job directly reports to the District Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / National Sales Manager. Responsible for generating sales demand through the achievement of key performance indicators for Mundipharma products within an assigned area resulting in the profitable achievement of sales targets set for the area within defined expense budgets, time lines and applicable internal policies, pharmaceutical industry code of ethics and Local regulations and in the process, can maintain and enhance the good reputation of the company

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Gain knowledge and understanding of the products & market to identify opportunity areas and/or perfor-mance gaps and has the functional & Technical skills to do the job with a high level of accomplishment
  • Recommend and implement appropriate plan of action as discussed with and approved by the immediate Manager according to established procedures
  • Within the limits allowed by company policies, the local pharmaceutical industry code of ethics and local regulations, manage the assigned territory to achieve sales excellence through closed-loop management (planning, execution, monitoring and control)
  • Monitor and analyze monthly and quarterly sales figures and initiate appropriate action where necessary, as discussed and approved in writing by the immediate supervisor.
  • Develops and implements special programs within territory to maximize sales opportunities
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with targeted opinion leaders and hospitals including physicians, medical staff, pharmacies, etc.
  • Understands and engages in customer selection according to the Profiling, segmentation & Targeting re-quirements set for products promoted
  • Plan and execute calls and activities which in line with brand objectives and deliver scientific messages to drive product awareness and demands
  • Analyses territory situation and trends related to the target therapeutic areas and develop territory busi-ness plan to meet brand objectives
  • Creating demand from customers to prescribe or to use the products by providing related products infor-mation
  • Organize and conduct CMEs, Round Table Meeting, seminars and activities as defined in cycle meetings to meet the organization’ business objectives    

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Qualifications: Pharmacy or Life Sciences Related (Medical, Biology)
  • Relevant Experience: Sales in pharmaceuticals
  • Language Requirements (if any): Local language
