Warehouse Supervisor/หัวหน้างานคลังสินค้า

Job Purpose:

Oversees all warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving materials or goods, maintaining inventory levels and recording warehouse information. In terms of managing warehouse staff to ensure that products are stores and shipped out in a accurate, efficient manner, planning and assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Control the warehouse all activities (inbound, put away, feeding and outbound) to ensure the smooth flow housekeeping in part the self-assured receipt, storage, put away, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into system and internal flows,
  • Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, lift truck etc.
  • Overseeing truck loading operations to ensure all policies and procedures are followed accordingly.
  • Always research to improve all warehouse operations according to company's objectives and lean methodology.
  • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transaction and activities.
  • Ensure proper handling of materials, and materials are received / kept and issued with the right quantity and conditions.
  • Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs with a primary focus on safety and environmental, efficiency and cost controls.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results issues inventory accuracy report to management with root cause and corrective actions.
  • Quality awareness as well as apply IATF 16949 to the area of work.
  • Maintain 5S activities.
  • Customer representative for logistics information.
  • Supervise team to perform the correct works following the manage plan.
  • Provide strategic plans and reviews; implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standard, resolve problems, identity warehouse system improvements.
  • Understand customer delivery requirements, make optimal deliveries with respects to costs and service level.
  • Having the responsibility and authority to ensure customer requirements are met in the aspect of logistics information and management of supply chain.
  • Other general duties as directed by Purchasing Manager or Management.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or other relevant business related discipline (or working towards such a qualification) would be highly regarded.
  • At least 5 years related experience in material management or warehousing distributions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, decision making, problem analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a busy team environment and extremely reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety & environmental rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices and percentates.
  • Good command of listening, spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 preferred.
