Finance Manager

Major Roles and Responsibilities;

  • Manage daily financial activities and provide advices and guidance to management on financial status and plans.
  • Review Daily and Monthly Cash Forecasting for cash receipt and disbursement activities in order to determine the cash level needed, fund sourcing, investment and hedging plan on FX currency.
  • Consequently, sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements as well as financial risks are handled properly.
  • Prepare Working Capital Management and submit to management for managing changes in current assets and current liabilities level that will be aligned with sales level. Provide advice to management on the change and trend of on working capital levels.
  • Prepare and propose capital Investment Plan in the fiscal year budget by consolidating group companies’ plan and submit to management.
  • Prepare and propose treasury risk management and assist in implement hedging tools to mitigate the risk, particularly in anticipating in FX Currency and Interest rate
  • Maintain good relationship with Banks and Credit Rating Agency for good credit facilities and services offered to the company or good credit rating. This is including reductions in bank fees/charges or knowhow/financial training courses offered, etc.
  • Manage appropriate dividend calculations and issuances, based on management policy and and expected cash flows
    Monitor financial market conditions, world and local economic, interest rate and foreign currencies, etc
  • Formulating group companies’ yearly budget by consolidating and adjusting each business unit’s  budget based on management policy and guideline  
  • Report performances to management on variances from the budget, and the reasons for those variances
  • Prepare project feasibility on the capital expenditure spending process to ensure costs and benefits performance and return on investment.
  • Manage AR (Collection) and AP (Payment)
  • Take initiatives to manage for financial process improvement, costs reduction, benchmarking and KPI
  • Assist management in the formulation and development of overall financial strategic direction
  • Maintain the adequate control mechanism over the payment, transfer and investment of funds.
  • Liaise with auditors both, internal and external, to ensure the appropriate risk management and internal control put in place be fully implemented and maintained. Provide support during the annual audit process by working with the auditors to answer queries, provide documents support and analysis as required on a timely basis.

Qualification/Requirements - Skills / Capabilities;

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
  • At least 5 – 10 years working experiences in Finance or Treasury Manager, extensive understanding of economic and financial trends in the financial market
  • Proficiency in IT Knowledge - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point), Lotus Note, etc.
  • Good in interpersonal, communication and analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Positive attitude and aptitude for change
  • Knowledge and experiences in Movex systems is advantage
