Accounting Supervisor

Key Accountabilities
What are the main role responsibilities against which performance is measured? Indicate if the role is within or across business entities and geographies.

  • Adhere to the Iron Mountain Code of Ethics and Core Values;
  • Adhere to all Iron Mountain Policies and procedures ;
  • Complete all tasks as requested by your manager in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Ensure the month end close & all relevant reporting (monthly, quarterly & annual) are completed in a timely manner & within US reporting deadlines;
  • Assist in preparation of all statutory returns such as VAT, withholding taxes, income tax return and statutory accounts by providing support and information where required;
  • Prepare Balance Sheet (including bank) reconciliations and its supporting schedules;
  • Assist in periodic assessment of completeness of accruals and prepayments;
  • Work closely with FP&A team to collaborate analytical data to support the business operations
  • Support local Accounts Payable team and Accounts Receivables team
  • Support both the internal and external audit processes
  • Assist in performing and monitoring SOX-Lite controls compliance as well as ensuring adherence to finance policies and procedures;
  • Assist in ensuring that adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accuracy and reliability of financial records; and
  • Ad hoc financial and operational work as agreed with the Accounting Manager


  • Graduate in Accounting or similar qualification;
  • Professional accounting qualification;
  • Track record of continuous professional development;
  • Technically competent financial professional with ability to manage workload, prioritise conflicting priorities/issues.

Skills (including languages):

  • Previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing financial accounting support;
  • Ability to work as a team and with staff located in remote location;
  • Sound up to date knowledge on TFRS and US GAAP;
  • Competent in Microsoft skills (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
  • Competent in verbal and written skills (both Thai and English);
  • Ability to build relationships and operate in a matrix structure;
  • Ability to analyse problems, actively strategize and resolve problems;
  • Good attention to detail; and
  • Ability to communicate concepts and findings of analysis to collegues and management.


  • Approximately 3-4 years of progressive experience;
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working within a public accounting firm (big 4 or mid-tier firms);
  • Experience working in a foreign owned multinational public reporting environment; and
  • Having experience using Hyperion HFM and Oracle ERP System, or any other major ERP systems (SAP, JDE, Great Plains)
