Service Mechanic

Position purpose : 

        The service mechanic is responsible for customer service and support during field visits analyzing technical malfunction or defects and repairing the defect either in the workshop or on location with a goal of improving customer satisfaction, deliverance of good quality,  maximizing client retention, and increasing profitability.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

  •  Provides customer service and support during field visits and tie workflow to schedules to ensure maximum efficiency;
  •  Manages all on-site installation, maintenance, repairs and testing tasks to ensure proper documentation of all related processes;
  • Diagnoses errors and technical problems and determines proper solutions to produce timely and detailed service reports;
  • Collaborates with the technical team and shares information across the organization to build positive relationships with clients and coworker;
  • Satisfies customer needs by making appropriate recommendations and briefings using appropriate field automation systems, procedures, and protocols;
  • Establishes assistance by studying system requirements, including ordering and gathering essential components and parts, completing the installation, and performing quality assurance tests;
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by using creativity and ingenuity to investigate complaints, identify resolutions, suggest enhanced operating techniques, and recommend system improvements;
  • Services existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning a daily travel schedule, reviewing concerns, conducting tests, and resolving problems.


  • Carries out the work according to the safety standards and requirements and is responsible for the correct and safe usage of the safety gear and equipment that is provided.
  • Delivering a good end product which meets the quality standards so the final checkup can be executed by the Quality inspector.
  • Detects problems during the construction work or repairs, solves them as much as possible and communicates about it to the involved internal parties.
  • Will handle the provided tools and equipment with care and is responsible to keep them in a good state and complete.
  • Detects defects on tools and equipment and communicates about it to the involved internal parties.
  • Is responsible to keep the own work place tidy and clean.
  • Registers the time spends on a certain project / repair in a correct manner.

External relations Position Requirements :

Technical (Automotive, Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics)

Professional credentials : Lower/Middle education

  • Technical (automotive, engineering, electronics or mechanics)
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Basic knowledge of electric systems
  • Welding (MIG level 1)
  • Understanding technical drawings and diagrams

Experience : 3 years in a comparable position
