Compounder Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • To develop new compound and carry out according to Technical Center specification and corporate policy. To ensure that tire new compound quality, process industrialization is compliant to Goodyear and Legal standards                                           
  • To issue new book sheets, mixing specifications are release as SOP plan, control raw material quality from each supplier and meet business need for Goodyear Original Equipment, RP and MDPO
  • Following and communicating to GICL on weekly, monthly basis                                               
  • Execute MDPO project and analyze current book sheets to optimize formulation, plant complexity, compound quality and standardize upstream process                                               
  • Control and reduce waste to meet the target. Take appropriate action on suspicious stock as necessary
  • Ensure lab operator has carried out his jobs in compliance with QA testing method, certify or re certify annually


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering Chemical Science, Rubber Technology or any related field
  • Ideally has experience in Tire Manufacturing Process            
  • Have knowledge and understanding with rubber process and chemical property
  • Understand Quality System, TS 16949, ISO 9000
  • Understand Quality system and Tool like Six Sigma, Lean  TQC                                                         
  • Positive mindset, analytical thinking and good in Problem Solving  
  • Good communication in English
