Sales Manager

The Sales Manager in Thailand will be the head of the sales and marketing department of the company; and will lead a team of 1 Assistant Sales Manager, 5 Sales Engineers and 4 support staff. 

Reporting to the British Managing Director, the position is part of the management team and will, together with the production and finance departments, support the company’s strategies.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the 1,000 million Thai Baht budget for year 2019.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Significant sales growth through expansion of existing market share as well as the acquisition of new customers in both the OEM and Aftermarket.
  • Lead and control the sales team.
  • Initiate and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Product pricing and quotations.
  • Customer support (technical support, seminars, training).
  • Coordinate with production department to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.

The Candidate

  • Extensive experience and track record in managing sales in the automotive parts industry.
  • Good command of Thai and English language both spoken and written (additional Japanese language skills will be advantageous)
  • Ability to travel overseas to visit customers or to attend exhibitions
  • PC literacy (MS-office)
  • Strong sales experience
  • Outgoing personality, Convincing / Persuasive
  • Goal and results oriented, and a team builder
  • Flexible and creative
