Coworking Community Manager: Sales and Marketing

Job description and responsibilities

  • Manage various aspects of the space and community, including the facilities and events
  • Giving tours of the space to prospective members
  • Managing the sales process from lead to member
  • Continuously improving on the sales process
  • Elevating the brand in the crowded of co-working market
  • Keeping social media up to date and engaging while establishing as thought leaders in the local and worldwide co-working movement
  • Keeping our various advertising platforms up to date
  • Continuously improving the marketing process and strategizing new ways to get  brand in front of potential customers
  • Technical problem solving when needed, including the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the printer, appliances and wireless networks
  • Maintaining a consistently high hospitality experience for all members and guests.

Here are the qualifications:

  • At least two years of social media and marketing experience.
  • Have a background in sales is preferred.
  • Have worked in hospitality and have a demonstrated record of excellent customer service
  • Have dynamic and energetic attitude.
  • Have ability on anticipating our member’s needs and exceeding their expectations
  • Be ready to grow up and exiting to explore in the new marketing business.
  • Be always on point, nothing gets past, yet be discreet and can keep our member’s information confidential
  • Have ability to judge character so you’ll be able to recruit great, community-minded members and will be tactful and diplomatic with every person who inquires about the space
  • Having a high emotional IQ and can communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Be punctual, professional, thorough, and entrepreneurial; you’re a quick learning self-starter that works well in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Be adaptable and innovative.
  • Be a leader and work well with introverts and extroverts alike.
  • Hard worker and humble.
  • Be collaborative and engaging and like to work as a team, able to be independent and get the job done. 
  • Be whiz with data, geek out on spreadsheets and get excited about organization
  • If can troubleshoot on a Windows device that’s a plus
  • Able to write a professional email, conduct research on the internet, use Facebook pages and groups, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn and willing to learn more on social media.
