Assistant Brand Manager - Baby

Job Purpose:

  • To develop marketing plan by identifying specific marketing tactics and launch plan that build on consumer and customer insights to deliver overall business objectives and strategies. You will also be using your skills to analyze the business, in addition to financial, competitive and research analysis. Beyond that, additional responsibilities will include

Job Description:

  • Be responsible for all aspects of Products comprising of project management, marketing plan development, control & evaluation, annual sales budget preparation, A&P control, sales and profit monitoring.
  • Formulate specific brand strategies and business/marketing plans consistent with overall category strategies
  • Properly follow up, control and evaluate each marketing activity and promptly propose necessary measure to direct toward the set objectives if necessary
  • Monitor the market with the specific attention on product’s distribution, display, off-take, pricing, product’s condition, to propose appropriate corrective measures
  • Keep up with the economical market situation and competitive activities and propose proper counter action activities if necessary
  • Work in liaison with advertising agency for advertising strategy development and effectively plan and execute advertising program to achieve the marketing objectives
  • Consumer/Customer focusing (To get consumer insight - consumer decision making, customer operations, customer decision making and market segmentation)
  • Complex Business and Financial Analysis (plan annual A&P budget for product and control spending the spending related portfolio / project as per budget to ascertain that appropriate investment spending
  • Coordinate and work cross functional with Sales department, Supply chain, Finance and Accounting, and distributor on the forecast planning, ensure that the numbers reflect the brand’s budgeted objectives and ensure the support of marketing promotion/ activities
  • Provide necessary assistance to Marketing Manager in all activities pertaining to brand building.
  • To carry out special projects assigned from time to time


  • Bachelor degree or higher in marketing or business administration or related field
  • At least 2 years experiences in marketing or related field ((FMCG is preferable)
  • Good creative, interpersonal, negotiation, and compromising skills
  • Good planning and management skill.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving skills
  • High entrepreneurial mindset with can-do attitude.  Multi-tasking and speed in action.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
