Data Protection Officer

Responsibilities:

 

  • The DPO shall perform the tasks in accordance with the PDPA and any other tasks as may be required to discharge duties as CIMBT’s DPO, including but not limited to: advising CIMBT as well as its employees and service providers of their obligations pursuant to and compliance with the PDPA;
  • Advising CIMBT as well as its employees and service providers of their obligations pursuant to and compliance with the PDPA;
  • Monitoring a compliance with the PDPA of CIMBT as well as its employees and service providers;
  • Raising an awareness within CIMBT on a personal data protection through, including but not limited to, trainings;
  • Being a point of contact with respect to personal data protection matters for both internal and external data subjects e.g. employees, customers, suppliers, etc., and government authoritiesand, in this connection, giving personal data required to publish contact details of CIMBT’s DPO as a point of contact for personal data protection matters pursuant to the PDPA;
  • Cooperating with the data protection regulatory authority with respect to compliance with the PDPA of CIMBT, its employees and service providers;
  • Keeping confidentiality of personal data known or acquired in the course of performance of duties under the PDPA; and Conducting any other tasks and complying with any other obligationsapplicable to the obligations and duties as a DPO pursuant to the PDPA, including its subordinated decrees, regulations, notifications, rules and guidelinesand the practice notes and recommendations from the relevant supervisory bodies and offices, which may be newly issued, issued in replacement, amended, altered or modified from time to time.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Higher in MIS or Related
  • Over 8 Years in Banking Industry
  • Experience in Personal Data Protection Act e.g understand and able to provide consultative advices to business users, Policy and Procedure, Monitoring a compliance with the PDPA
  • Experience in Customer Information, Personal Identifiable Inforrmation
  • Experience in Confidentaility , Integrity and Avaliblity Methodology
  • Experience in software engineering and software development methodology
  • Experience in in managing a team of professional
  • Have can-do attitude and willing to learn new knowledge
  • Able and willing to assume various multi-tasking work
  • Good communication and negotiation skill
