Property Permit Manager (Retail Industry)
  • Acquiring and delivering all permits for both large format sites, and refresh sites (future stores) to achieve targets and yearly budgets of number of openings, and, pipeline sites in accordance with development program requirements.
  • Providing support and information to the NWT team and cross functional teams to achieve related plans.
  • Being responsible for managing and carrying out the property execution process from site identification through to approval and successful handover to the construction team (100% permit achievement as per the target).
  • Providing advice to subordinates, solving problems or concerned issues, and dealing with any hindrances causing delays to store openings.
  • Providing advice to other functions when they need to consult on any problems.
  • Maintaining good relationships within cross functional teams.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships in the community and with local government.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Law, Political Science or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in the field of licensing or similar (minimum of at least 3 years).
  • English fluency.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and convincing skills.
  • Have a customer service mind.
  • Logical thinker.
  • Able to travel and work independently.
