Process Engineer

 Job brief:

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical team to implement process control plans on each critical sub-process as well as provide guidance for the operations team on variation reduction to continuously strive for product quality improvements.
  • Drive the business process, manufacturing cost and productivity improvement by charting the direction for standardized metrics and application of Lean Six Sigma principles, techniques, tools and practices.
  • Develop, implement & institutionalize Lean 6 Sigma across the Company including Training, Visual Performance, Glass Walls and achieving KPI results.
  • Indentify opportunities and help establish Project priorities across Operations by partnering with Business Leaders, Functional Managers, Manufacturing Operations Manager, Plants & their teams and Six Sigma resources.
  • Plan, facilitate and implement specific projects to deliver rapid, demonstrable and sustainable improvements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders and team to achieve their business goals relating to financial performance, defect reduction and cycle time reduction.
  • Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
  • Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Perform process simulations.
  • Manage cost and time constraints.
  • Perform risk assessments.
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
  • Other assignments by manager.


  • Proven work experience in process engineering
  • Excellent technical skills : Lean, Six Sigma, TRIZ
  • Knowledge of process related standards
  • Experience in process simulations
  • Experience in Mistake Proof methodology
  • Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
  • ERP; SAP, Oracle or formalized ERP
  • Minitab and/or SPSS skills
  • CAD or AutoCad skills
  • Fully aware of health and safety regulations
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
  • Thai nationality.
  • Bachelor Degree in IE. , Rubber Technology , Chemical Engineering or Chemistry  and related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing environment, process control or related areas preferably in Industrial glove manufacturing or rubber industry.
  • Understanding of productivity, cost controlling and basic profit & loss.
  • Good command of English and Computer literate.
  • Strong analytical, statistical & problem solving skills.
