Production Engineer

【Job description】

  • Production operation 
  • Launching a commercial plant, with the objective of enabling the mass production and stable supply of structural proteins 
  • Determining optimal conditions for fermentation and purification processes used in the volume production of structural proteins 
  • Managing production line operators 
  • Sharing technology and knowhow regarding structural protein production with other licensed plants 
  • Shift work is required

【Job experience】

  • More than 3 years’ experience in the fermentation, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industriesas a production operation

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Biotechnology / Chemical  
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the fermentation, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries
  • as a production operation
  • Own car driving license is a must (No car service) 
  • English: business conversational level (TOEIC examination score is over 740)

【Preferred experience, skills or knowledge】

  • Experience related to process development or manufacturing in the food, chemicals, or pharmaceutical industries for more than 3 years and/or set up the new factory (establish new business) 
  • Experience related systematic work (5S, 4M (work standardization), ISO 9001/ ISO 14000)

【Salary system】

  • Salary: Approximate range  30,000-70,000 baht/month (No bonuses nor allowances)

【Probation period】

  • 119 days

【Work hours】

  • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Shift work is required.

   Spiber is a Japanese biotech startup that designs structural protein materials from the molecular level, and inexpensively mass produces those materials through a microbial fermentation process. Currently, the biotech industry is mainly centered around the production of enzymes, ethanol, food products, medicines, biofuels, and the like.
