Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Identify best practices and lead/ participate continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate worker training in areas such as relevant safety laws and regulations and use of safety equipment.
  • Perform safety audits and inspect facilities and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance. 
  • Investigate incidents to determine causes, determine corrective and preventive measures to prevent re-occurrences.   
  • Drive, coordinate and implement overall OHS&E programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety / Professional Safety Certificate or related filed.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Construction, Installation field.
  • Knowledge of OHSAS18001 is advantage.
  • Good command in English and MS Office.
