Our respected client is seeking a professional with experience in office management and genera affairs coordinating for the job of General Affairs Manager or Supervisor. The job is based in Rayong, Thailand. 

Job Summary

General Affairs Supervisor or Manager, who will be taking care of office management, general administration internally and externally activities, as well as coordinator on other operations activities for a newly set up plant in Thailand. The objectives are to develop, manage, and implement the effective people management and working procedure system. They will be a contact person with external party. Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee administrative duties in an office and ensure that the office operates efficiently and smoothly
  • Organizes work priorities and manages expenses
  • Analyze administrative operations and strategies, as well as employee performance, in order to suggest and implement improved work methods and systems
  • Coordinate and develop activities or document that compliance with labor laws & BOI regulations and corporate policy
  • Understand full spectrum of Human Resources, compliance with labor laws & BOI regulations and corporate policy, all including Benefit & Welfare, HR administrations, Employee Relations, HR Development, Performance Management & Learning and Reward & Recognition Programs
  • Develop, implement, and Maintain company policies, strategies, procedures, guides etc. to achieve business objective and comply with corporate standards
  • Advise senior managers on performance management issues, coach managers in dealing with specific issues and ensure that performance issues are actively addressed
  • Manage internal public relations activities (website, social mediate, etc.) and co-ordinate with external party on public relation activities if necessary
  • Undertake other duties within the plant to ensure both internal and external customer requirement are met

Job requirements

  • Experience in office administration and general affairs, with managerial experience in manufacturing environment
  • Excellent English and Thai written and verbal communication skills
  • Good Japanese will be advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of local labour law
  • The ability to work as business partner across the organization and to liaise with managers
  • Drive to achieve results – sets own standards, checks own work, and demonstrates a positives approach
  • Experienced in setting up and establish headquarters/company in Thailand before is advantage
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and guide business managers
  • Judgement and decision making experience
  • Strong analytical, planning & organization and change management skills
  • Working collaboratively, actively contribute to achieve organization objectives
  • Own car driving license
