Employee Relations, Principal – Associate Director

About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations (ER), Associate Director to join our HR team. This role is critical in managing employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Thai labor laws, company and group standard and policies as well as supporting a positive and legally sound work environment. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and labor law application.
Key responsibilities
Act as a primary contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and Thai labor law
Manage and investigate employee complaints, conflicts, misconduct, and grievance cases with professionalism and discretion
Provide consultation and support to line managers and relative HRBP on all ER cases, disciplinary actions, and employee performance management issues
Co-conduct internal investigations and prepare related data and reports, including case documentation and recommended actions
Monitor compliance with Thai labor law and company regulations; identify and mitigate ER-related risks
Collaborate with legal counsel on labor disputes, terminations, and labor court proceedings when required
Proactively work to maintain positive employee engagement and morale through transparent and legally ER practices
Perform as HRBP role in some portfolio to collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into HR strategy
Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law or related field
Minimum 7 years of direct experience in Employee Relations or HRBP with strong handling employee cases
Strong knowledge of Thai labor law, labor protection acts, and relevant legal procedures
Proven experience in handling disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent command of English
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
