Position Overview

The Account Manager maintains and grows relationships with existing large and multi-site customers while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal. The AM is responsible for achieving an assigned sales and profitability goal. The AM is expected to retain existing business while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts.

 

You are responsible for

  • Penetrates assigned accounts by selling new or additional products or services to current accounts; and/or finding additional opportunities with other Business Units within the existing accounts.
  • Sells the firm’s complete offering of products and services.
  • Leads all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery.
  • Achieves assigned sales quota and meets assigned expectations for profitability
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring satisfaction.
  • Effectively collaborate with presales, consulting and project delivery group.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in any field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience selling solutions.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation.
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding measurable sales goals
  • Experience communicating with technical and business solutions audiences.
  • Experience identifying business organizational structures and buying influences.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills and must be self-motivated.
  • Must have proven and successful sales experience at managing resources and complex, multi-dimensional sales efforts, both at the customer level and corporate environment.
  • Ability to assemble and present effective sales presentations at the C-Level is a requirement.
  • Willing to travel in short notice and ability to travel up to 30% is a must.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in software or hardware selling solutions in Retail space is highly preferred.
