Head of Business Development (Luxury Hotel Design & Architect)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with the leadership and responsible for business development strategy and implementation in the Asia region including China.
  • Managing individual sales targets (SGD 5 Mil/annum) and contributing to the overall team target.
  • Conducting market research and gathering critical intelligence regarding clients, projects and competitors & trends within the luxury hospitality market.
  • Representing the company and building relationships with clients, project partners and collaborators and promoting the profile of the company in the community.
  • Working closely with design directors, project leaders and members of the company team (BD team, Finance, Legal, etc.) to complete the sales cycle through the signed contract stage.
  • Participating in the development of the systems, materials and resources necessary for business development including proposals, presentations, and promotional campaigns that capture company creative vision and win-work.
Key Requirements to Succeed:
  • Overall 10 years of experience in the Architecture and Design industry with at least 6 years of experience working in business development roles preferably within the luxury hospitality design realm, in Asia (including China) and beyond.
  • Proven ability to deliver consistently on business targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude with the ability to get things done on your own and with a team.
  • Understands the whole process of BD - starting from the prospect sourcing to the deal closing.
Must:
  • Presentable and strong English skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry.
  • Must be based in either Singapore or Bangkok.
  • Well connected in the industry and able to generate leads.
  • Experience working in luxury hotel design in Asia.
