SOC & Cyber Security Senior Manager

Principal Account abilities:

  • Lead the investigation of severe security incidents.
  • Serve as an expert in delivering and coordinating technical analysis, business impact assessments and mitigation recommendations for security incidents
  • Develop measurement capabilities and metrics to track and communicate performance, coverage and risk. Maintain awareness of trends in security regulatory, technology, and operational requirements
  • Responsible for security analysis, triage and escalation procedures, workflows and tasks
  • Schedule periodic security audits, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
  • Be a leader in the expansion and growth of the SOC; drive security integration of new products and services
  • Identifies opportunities to improve security monitoring, vulnerability management, threat management and operational tasks
  • Evaluate existing SIEM rules, filters, events and use cases and adapt to meet the business requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as SOC, Cyber Security Incident Response, Security Analyst or similar leadership role
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, NIST Cybersecurity framework) and risk management methodologies
  • Knowledge of digital forensic, vulnerability management, patch management, firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (e.g. Tipping Point)
  • Knowledge of Strong Authentication, End Point Security, Internet Policy Enforcement, Firewalls, Web Content Filtering, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Thorough knowledge of SIEM technologies, like Splunk ES or ArcSight
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Business level English
