IT Business Specialist (ERP,Execution System,Project) 60-70 K

Indicate primary purpose of position and those major factors that distinguish this position from others.

This position is responsible for parting with business to provide IT support and solution for PMT based in Thailand, doing project and co-work with design/development team for system to suit the site/plant operation process, implement and manage in required project or sub-project.

The position has to provide IT training, support IT operation, drive improvement in IT solution/upgrade, optimize cost and manage IT customer satisfaction.

It need understand business and manufacturing process to support or on application and ERP/SAP, and run IT as business to provide solution to improve production or support business growth. Also will need to co-ordinate and lead deployment of regional and global project when approved water-line and agile projects are to implement the IT solution at the specified site.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Describe the nature of responsibilities and/or the duties to be performed.

• Work and support the PMT applications (Corp and SBG/SBU specific) running at the site and align to all site users/ customers to ensure effective IT solution, communications and deliver productive working relationships across key stakeholders. This includes helping user/customers with IT processes for service or issues.
• Understand and lead process for evaluation of related systems and solutions. Identifies impact of change on business process and tools in order to make a recommendation for effective business process solutions.Take day-to-day work support in Information Technology related area, pc machine controller related, support the enterprise applications and troubleshoot desktop applications for users.
• Provide site level input base on Thailand condition for Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning and Management, Disaster Recovery testing and IT infrastructure optimization initiatives.
• Develop relationships with business team members by being proactive, displaying a thorough understanding of the business processes and by recommending Improvement or innovative business solutions per IT application roadmap at lower cost.
• Serves as IT liaison under general direction from the PMT/HEM IT Director and regional IT Business Partner (Site IT Leader) within an assigned customer area for process improvement, project status reporting and resolution.
• Lead to complete project tasks in order to support ERP/SAP project for successful go live and continuous improvement of system. Collect business requirement, track issue log, test application/system and support to train users.
• Collect write and communicate business requirements to the functional team for the design and implementation to ensure good alignment of solutions.
• Assists in assessing HEM needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities.
• Responsible for understanding project value; opportunity, benefit and doing pre-work for submitting new project candidates through the Project planning, AOP/waterline process
• Work with PMT IT and EN-IT to do value based planning group to determine cost take out opportunities
• Maintain an awareness of emerging technologies, do testing of concept and apply new technology to improve operation at minimum cost.
• Conduct or Coordinates requested customer training and refresher training courses, educate users in the Site Super user monthly meeting.

• To ensure HS&E management policies, procedures, work instructions as well as rules and regulations are complying with Specialty material HS&E requirement as well as local law requirements.
• To ensure employee under his/her responsible follow and comply with HS&E management system policies, procedures, work instructions as well as regulations. [X]
Department/Function Leader/Manager • Develop, implement, maintain HS&E policies, procedures, work instructions and regulations base on Specialty Material HS&E requirement or and local law requirements.
• Monitor, determine and recommend a safer and better process in order to create safe work condition and action.
• Ensure employee under his/her responsible follow and comply with HS&E management system policies, procedures, work instructions as well as regulations.
• Promptly report, correct to any unsafe action and unsafe condition presented in work place. [ ]
Engineer/Supervisor/Area Leader/Leader/Foreman • Implement, maintain HS&E management system policies, procedures, work instructions, rules and regulations requirement that developed or/and implemented within department and/or the company.

• Ensure employee under his/her responsible follow and comply with HS&E management system policies, procedures, work instructions as well as regulations.
• Promptly report, correct to any unsafe action and unsafe condition presented in work place. [X]

Plant Manager (Site Leader) • Primary owner of the site’s H.O.S. deployment process.
• Understands strategic rationale for H.O.S. and provides visible leadership at all phases of deployment.
• Leads the Site H.O.S. Steering Team.
• Ensures continual, appropriate communications and change management.
• Understands the Standard Implementation Framework engagement of the SBG H.O.S. Leader and/or the assigned group of H.O.S. Specialists as required.
• Makes resources available as required to support H.O.S. deployment.
• Develops, reviews, and measures through Strategy Deployment all site objectives and ensures role clarity, alignment, and linkage to H.O.S. deployment and engagement/accountability of all employees.
• Coaches and mentors teams and role models H.O.S. behaviors by developing and following Leadership Standardized Work and requiring all other leaders to do the same.
• Key point of linkage between plant operations, senior leadership, and functions beyond ISC. [X]
Site HR Leader • Co-owner (along with the Plant Manager) of the Organizational Development (OD) portion of the site’s H.O.S. deployment process.
• Understands strategic rationale for H.O.S. and provides visible leadership at all phases of deployment.
• Member of Site Steering Team.
• Ensures continual, appropriate communications and change management.
• Ensures role clarity, alignment, and linkage to H.O.S. deployment, Strategy Deployment and engagement/accountability of all employees.
• Leads the creation and execution of the Site’s Communication and Training Plans.
• Coaches and mentors teams and role models H.O.S. behaviors.
• Champions employee engagement through the full scale deployment process. [X]

State qualifications, years of experiences and personal attributes required.

PERSONNEL ATTRIBUTES

Education level and/or experience
• Bachelor's degree in related Information Technology fields/programming or Computer science; and/or specialized IT training and have equivalent IT working experience for 3 years. PMP/ITIL certification is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills (General and Technical)
• Broad technical IT experience in managing applications, server environments, desktops, data and voice networks, printers/faxes and plant cabling.
• Ability to develop custom data collection processes as needed for customers.
• Can prepare and execute an entire project plan including dependencies and critical paths.
• Can document status reports for project team members and provide training.
• Ability to estimate time and activities for own work using project management tools and maintain communications with project team members and customers.
• Can communicate well in English

Additional requirement:
• High level understanding of site specific applications and infrastructure (server, router, network)
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting computer execution output
• Ability to read technical documents, maintain accurate records, prioritize work and analyze problems to develop good IT solutions
• Have good interpersonal skill and can establish and maintain an effective working relationship with users and other technical staff in order to have good collaboration for IT works for PMT IT
• Be a change agent and promote positive change in IT for users
