Position: Sourcing Manager
Location: Ban Bueng, Chonburi
Job Objectives:
Establish the close partnership and collaboration with Biz development team, Program Office and NPI/Engineering/SQE team responsible for implementing innovative & cost-effective sourcing solutions, strategic alliance supplier base, faster Time to Market to enable the HMLV biz environment and be the partner of choice.
Propagate efficiency, effectiveness, excellence and ethics within the department and alongside other departments to exceed organization goals and delight our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the sourcing team in developing and driving team towards achieving all sourcing KPI goals and establishing indicators to measure effectiveness.
Responsibility for quotation management in exceeding the RFQ response rate and on time RFQ submission.
Responsible for Total Cost Ownership in developing innovation, strategic & market-leading sourcing solutions. Partner with the respective sourcing and teams to drive supplier lowest total cost in exceeding targeted cost saving goal.
Drive localization initiatives by identifying, developing, and qualifying local suppliers to reduce supply chain risk, improve responsiveness, and enhance cost competitiveness.
Lead cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives through supplier negotiation, value engineering, should-cost analysis, alternative sourcing, and continuous improvement to achieve annual cost-saving targets.
Develop and execute strategic sourcing activities, including category and supplier strategies, market analysis, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and long-term supplier development aligned with business objectives.
Responsible for implementing & delivering Innovation biz and breakthrough technical solutions to enable faster Time to Market that grow our top-line and sharping our bottom-line.
Develop and manage Strategic Alliance Supplier base performance in meeting next level of Cost, Quality, Availability (CQAT) to achieve Zero Repeated Quality, Un-interrupted Supply-line Availability, Best-in Class Process Technology, faster Time to Market (TTM) and Compliance thru VQPA, SBR and/or Scorecards process etc.
Hire, train, retain and motivate a diverse team, provide career coaching, growth and personal development. Accountable for competency development and performance of subordinates.
Consciously apply LEAN in our operations, systematically eliminate waste and solve problem permanently.
Evaluate project risks and develop risk mitigation plans to ensure timely completion of projects
Ensure full compliance in all safety, regulatory, legal, customer & organization requirements.
Other assignment/project may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing / Physics or relevancy in working experience.
Experiences:
Minimum 10 years of work experience in equipment assembly, automation, or a contract manufacturing environment.
High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Good project management skills, with the ability to manage and drive projects effectively.
