We Are Hiring: Factory Manager 1 Position

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire factory to ensure efficient production, product quality, and cost effectiveness.

• Develop and execute production plans and manpower strategies to meet customer demand and shipping schedules.

• Oversee quality control, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and sustainability requirements.

• Monitor and continuously improve production efficiency, plant performance, and resource utilization.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) to optimize processes and reduce waste.

• Manage factory budgets, control operating costs, and prepare production forecasts.

• Conduct risk assessments covering operational, environmental, and safety aspects and ensure effective mitigation measures.

• Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve high performance, foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement, and build future leadership capability.

• Ensure timely maintenance and reliability of equipment and facilities to minimize downtime.

• Serve as the key liaison with corporate management, suppliers, and external stakeholders for factory-related matters.

• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of all findings.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Possess at least Degree/major in Industrial Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent field.

• Minimum 8 years of working experience within the manufacturing environment (Experience in working in Natural Rubber will be specially considered.

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership / people management function

• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

• Strong troubleshooting skills, good leadership skills, interpersonal skills and analytical approach to problem solving

• Proactive, results-oriented, high level of integrity, decisive and possess good follow-through

• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload while delivering high accuracy/quality works

• Ability to communicate at all levels of management and good presentation skills

• Ability to work with relevant stakeholders in projects undertaken Company

• Good teamwork approach with positive attitude, independent and fast learner
