Compliance Specialist

Your future team

To handle Line of Business  portfolio of claims of intermediate complexity from coverage enquiry through legal liability assessment (where relevant) and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution; ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure while communicating developments and outcomes as necessary to all key internal and external stakeholders. Provide a high standard of customer service and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Follow up the staffs to complete the online training as stated in the laggard report.
  • Co-ordinate with other departments to obtain and follow up necessary documents for Monitoring and Testing as instructed by Compliance Manager include implementing Compliance Policy Program
  • Assist the Local Compliance Officer (LCO) on ensuring that all new staffs obtain the required training both online and other training in person.
  • Conduct regular review on screening result via C-Link, eScreen, contact AMFICS and etc.
  • Advising the business on the Anti-Money Laundering matter e.g. Customer Due Diligence, Enhance Due Diligence.
  • AML screening  (to convert the name list from the Net Bay and provide to GBS group)
  • Checking the client name list, as requested by OIC, GIA, NACC, other government entities, whether they have business transaction with our company, and response to those mentioned regulatory body.
  • Support on reviewing the English translation and/ or doing the English translation on the simple message.
  • Provide the Administrative works for Compliance Department .
  • Support Compliance on any ad hoc operations as assigned by Compliance Department.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Law or related
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in Legal or Compliance and/ or audit field.
  • Working in an insurance industry is preferable.
  • Skill in computer program – Excel, Word, Power Points, Outlook, etc.
  • Good command of English (Writing, Speaking, Writing and Listening).
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player, positive attitude, self-learning, enthusiastic to work.
