Senior HR Services Manager

Drive HR priorities and Plant people agenda at SVI plant in Thailand. Support business growth by driving the right culture, mindsets, values and behaviours. Implement organization changes, enabling effective team working, driving the right goal alignment processes and performance management.


Provide HR expertise to the Plant Leadership Team. Partner with Leadership Team to deliver against functional HR goals and business goals. Lead the Organizational Pillar and build capability within the plant to accelerate the organizational transformations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To supervise and lead all HR related actions for the plant employees.
  • To supervise and conduct all administration related matters including but not limited to employees buses, canteen etc.
  • Manage day to day operations of the employee relations function.
  • Support the Learning & Development team to enable the development of High Performing Work culture, determining the L&D strategy for the site.
  • Understands KPI's and strategy of the respective functions and the total company in order to align HR processes/practices with business strategy.
  • Control the Employee Relations agenda, including oversight of all grievance and dispute management processes, Enterprise Agreement strategy, planning and negotiations; and consultation processes.
  • Work with Line Leaders to source for the right capabilities into the core teams.
  • Manage employee relation matters through regular and transparent communication of HR processes, policies and procedures to the employees. Engage the employees on regular basis through programs such as 1-1 discussion, Townhall, Focus Group Discussion, SGA etc. Develop communication matrix for plant.
  • Assist the line managers in organizational changes such as organizational design, job evaluation and restructuring initiatives.
  • Manage all labour related compliances and reports.
  • Manage all service providers and contractors engaged on the people side e.g. security, janitorial services etc.
  • Build own team of motivated and committed members through effective training, recognition and development programs.
  • Handle employee related issues, raise them with management and provide solutions.

Qualifications

  • University’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related area
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Human Resources covering MOD, C&B, Labour law, recruiting, Labour Relations and general HR functions and manufacturing experience
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Depth knowledge of Labor legislation
  • Deep understanding of organizational and individual development
  • Good knowledge of external employment and development trends, labor markets and competitors
  • Track record of successful employee engagement initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strategic, conceptual and analytical skills, ability to drive continuous improvement
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Planning, priority setting, problem solving and monitoring skills
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
  • PC skills (MS Office)
  • Fluent English
